Toy Story Mania! for iPhone

Disney Toy Story Mania! for iPhone

As blogged about on Pixar Fanboy last week, Disney recently released Toy Story Mania! for the iPhone and iPod Touch (iTunes App Store link) at $4.99.

Inspired by attraction of the same name at Disneyland, the game is primarily a simple point and shoot game based on the events of the first two Toy Story movies. There’s a Buzz Lightyear themed area, a Woody-themed “rootin’ tootin’ shootin’” gallery, and an Army Men-themed area too.

I’ve downloaded it and spent 30 minutes or so playing around. My first impression is they’ve done a great job, this game has lot’s of playability. Further, the app has already garnered 4 stars on the Apple App Store.

Of course I’m still waiting for the bigger Toy Story Mania video game to be released for the Wii in the next month or so. In the meantime, if you own an iPhone or iPod Touch, go ahead and download this nice little app, you should not be disappointed.

Update: Disney is claiming that there’s a “big surprise” if you bring your iPhone with the game installed to the Disneyland resort.
