Giant Lego Woody!

Lego Woody

Never to be out-done by his pal, Buzz, last weekend at the Venice International Film festival, a giant Lego Woody was unveiled. Sky.It (an Italian Entertainment site) posted a bunch of photos of Lasseter and crew frolicking it up with Buzz and Woody and various other Pixar characters.

You can see all the photos on the Italian website here: Venezia: tutti pazzi per la Pixar. Or, get the Google English-translated version: Venice: Something About Pixar.

Lego Heart Toy Story

Lego Buzz Lightyear at Comic-Com 2009

At Comic-Con 2009 the Lego / Toy Story exhibit featured a life size Lego Buzz Lightyear as well as Lego’s new set of Toy Story Mini-figs (minature lego characters) which are to be released just in time for Christmas. With a simple search on Flickr you can see just how popular Buzz was at the conference. I’ve posted previously about the Toy Story Mini-figs.

Lego does Toy Story!

Woody - Lego Mini-fig

Still catching up on what might be old news to some – this one from about a month ago compliments of Upcoming Pixar (Pixar Planet). Lego will be releasing some cool looking Toy Story Mini-figs (minature lego characters) to coincide with Toy Story 3. You can get a glimpse here on these Flickr galleries: flickr, flickr.

I’m still awe-inspired with Angus MacLane and what he has done with his Lego creations.

Angus MacLane’s Lego Photostream

Pixar animator Angus MacLane has a flickr page where he shares his latest Lego creations.

Featured creations include Carl (from Up) and Wall-E (from Wall-E). Angus, who also directed the Pixar short film BURN-E shows his Lego talents with a likeness of the featured character. An amusing aspect of his flickr page are the comments as the majority of individuals who post are obviously not aware of his Pixar connection.

Check out the MacLane Photostream on flickr.
